The Mindful Manager Program is a short introductory training that is customized to the specific needs of your team or industry, such as sales, marketing, finance, etc. It includes a one-day workshop and four two-hour post-workshop weekly sessions or five three-hour weekly sessions. The program is designed to support managers at all levels to:
- Become familiar with the concept of mindfulness and basic mindfulness techniques
- Develop clear focus, emotional intelligence and self-awareness
- Enhance emotion regulation and creativity
- Develop a more agile mind
- Experience greater overall well-being.
The Mindful Manager Program includes a one-day workshop and four two-hour post-workshop weekly sessions.
The workshop begins with an introduction to the neuroscience of mindfulness so that every participant gains a clear understanding of how his brain and nervous system work and how meditation can help him to become familiar with his work and even alter or control it.
Participants also learn all basic mindfulness techniques and special practices developed to deal with our emotional triggers and reactive emotions and help us to become more aware of our emotional filters.
The program is strongly oriented to helping participants to introduce mindfulness into their everyday life — in the office as well as at home. Approximately one-third of the program is content and two-thirds is mindfulness training, which includes individual and dyadic exercises and group meditations.
Individual daily practice is expected.
